چکیده
Volcano Young Sheveluch is one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka. Since August 1980 to present time, an extrusive dome has been growing crater volcano. Plastic lavas form large ribbons were noted on already 1980–1981, first lava flow was observed after a paroxysmal eruption May 9, 2004. The next block started extrude end April – beginning 2020. By June, 11th, it rose above 50–80 m, and up 120 m by October. On September 28, that acquired smooth surfaces. Portions squeezed out from inside volcano plastic. December 8, had collapsed. In February 2021, new plastic began rise destroyed block. March its height exceeded 50–60 200 June.

[1] Ultramafic xenoliths of spinel dunite, harzburgite, lherzolite, amphibole/phlogopite-bearing pyroxenite, and clinopyroxenite occur in andesitic pyroclastic debris from the 1964 eruption of Shiveluch volcano, Kamchatka. Peridotites have coarse/protogranular, porphyroclastic, and granuloblastic textures, abundant kink-banded olivine, and refractory mineral compositions with forsteritic olivin...

Present address: Alexander Belousov, Vavilova str, 31/1–28, Moscow, 117312, Russia Abstract Investigation of well-exposed volcaniclastic deposits of Shiveluch volcano indicates that large-scale failures have occurred at least eight times in its history: approximately 10,000, 5700, 3700, 2600, 1600, 1000, 600 C BP and 1964 AD. The volcano was stable during the Late Pleistocene, when a large cone...
متن کاملLong-Term Volcanic Activity at Shiveluch Volcano: Nine Years of ASTER Spaceborne Thermal Infrared Observations
Shiveluch (Kamchatka, Russia) is the most active andesitic volcano of the Kuril-Kamchatka arc, typically exhibiting near-continual high-temperature fumarolic activity and periods of exogenous lava dome emplacement punctuated by discrete large explosive eruptions. These eruptions can produce large pyroclastic flow (PF) deposits, which are common on the southern flank of the volcano. Since 2000, ...
متن کاملPulsatory andesite lava flow at Bagana Volcano
[1] Using a time series of TerraSAR-X spaceborne radar images we have measured the pulsatory motion of an andesite lava flow over a 14-month period at Bagana Volcano, Papua New Guinea. Between October 2010 and December 2011, lava flowed continuously down the western flank of the volcano forming a 3 km-long blocky lava flow with a channel, levees, overflows and branches. We captured four success...
